One of the leaders in eye-tracking, Tobii Technology, is set to bring its unique Gaze interface to consumers in 2013.
Tobii have created a peripheral that works with any Windows 8 PC. The system will be shown off next week at CES (Consumer Electronics Show).
The device attaches beneath your monitor (also works on laptops) and plugs into a USB port. A special software called Tobii Gaze is then installed to track exactly what you’re looking at, allowing you to scroll sideways or even go blasting on asteroids with just a glance.
In the video above, Tobii demonstrates how Gaze ‘makes it possible to point and interact in a way that is superior to both touch and mouse’.
